El relevista cubano de los Rojos de Cincinnati Aroldis Chapman sufrió fractura en la nariz y la parte superior del ojo izquierdo tras ser golpeado por un batazo el miércoles por la noche, en otro escalofriante accidente en que un pitcher es alcanzado por una pelota, reporta la AP.
Chapman fue sometido a revisión en el hospital Banner Buen Samaritano, dijo el club de Cincinnati en un comunicado.
El manager de los Rojos, Bryan Price, dijo Chapman estaba consciente y con capacidad para hablar cuando fue sacado del campo en el partido contra los Reales de Kansas City.
El juego fue cancelado tras una interrupción de ocho minutos cuando Kansas City tenía una ventaja de 6-3.

Pérez se puso las manos en el casco antes de llegar a primera base y luego se dirigió al montículo donde jugadores de ambas escuadras se arremolinaron alrededor del lanzador de 26 años.

The Cuban reliever Cincinnati Reds Aroldis Chapman suffered broken nose and the top of the left eye after being hit by a batted ball on Wednesday night in another chilling accident in which a pitcher is hit by a ball, reports the AP .
Chapman was under review at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital , Cincinnati club said in a statement.
The Reds manager Bryan Price said Chapman was conscious and able to speak when he was taken off the field in the game against the Kansas City Royals .
