CUBA, INDIA Y RUSIA DISCONFORMES CON LA CONFERENCIA MUNDIAL DE INTERNET.
Rusia, Cuba, India y una parte de la sociedad civil se mostraron hoy disconformes con el documento final que salió de la conferencia internacional de internet NetMundial, que concluyó hoy en Sao Paulo.
Tras la presentación del texto, representantes de esos países mostraron su desacuerdo con diferentes puntos del informe, discutido durante dos días por delegaciones de más de 85 países, gobiernos, ciudadanos y representantes del sector técnico, académico y privado.
Un portavoz de Rusia expresó su total “desacuerdo” con el documento y afirmó que su país no lo “va a considerar en el futuro” al creer que “erosiona” el principio de “soberanía” e “ignora” las propuestas realizadas por su delegación.
El delegado de la India afirmó que el informe final, de carácter “no vinculante”, no garantiza una gobernanza “transparente” y “democrática”, mientras que el de Cuba cuestionó su carácter “excluyente”.
El gobierno cubano teme mantener el servicio de internet a la población en general.
Uno de los representantes de la sociedad civil señaló su desacuerdo “porque no muestra gran parte de sus preocupaciones relativas a los derechos humanos y a los principios de proporcionalidad”.
El documento, que destaca la importancia de la privacidad, fue presentado hoy por el presidente de la NetMUndial, Virgilio Almeida, tras dos días de debates entre los diferentes actores participantes en el encuentro.

CUBA, RUSSIA AND INDIA DISAGREE WITH INTERNET CONFERENCE RESOLUTION.
Russia, Cuba , India and part of the civil society were now dissatisfied with the final document that emerged from the Internet NetMundial international conference , which concluded today in Sao Paulo.
Following the presentation of the text, representatives of these countries disagreed with different points of the report , discussed for two days by delegations from more than 85 countries , governments, citizens and representatives of the technical , academic and private sector.
A spokesman for Russia expressed its full “disagreement” with the document and said his country does not ” going to consider in the future” to believe that ” erodes ” the principle of ” sovereignty” and “ignores ” the proposals made by his delegation .
The representative of India said that the final report of ” non-binding ” nature , does not guarantee a “transparent ” and ” democratic” governance , while that of Cuba questioned his “exclusive ” character.
The Cuban government fears keep internet service to the general population .
One of the representatives of civil society noted its disagreement “because it does not show much of their concerns regarding human rights and the principles of proportionality.”
The document , which highlights the importance of privacy , today was presented by the president of the NetMUndial , Virgilio Almeida, after two days of discussions between the different actors involved in the encounter.
