Si usted viaja a Cuba con una considerable cantidad de dinero, no se separe de ella ni la pierda de vista durante los controles de aduana, porque los estafadores están al acecho desde que ponga un pie en el aeropuerto. O tal vez viajaron con usted en su mismo vuelo.
El análisis de las cámaras de seguridad en un punto de control aduanal en el Aeropuerto Internacional “José Martí” de La Habana, permitió a las autoridades descubrir el robo a un pasajero que portaba una cartera con más de $10,000 dólares.
Según la escueta información que publica en su sitio la Aduana General de Cuba, el vuelo fue identificado tan solo como el 9434 procedente de Estados Unidos, pero sin ubicar su lugar de origen ni ofrecer los nombres de los implicados.
Un vuelo con la misma numeración es operado por la agencia Marazul, radicada en Miami, pero el mismo se realiza los lunes y no el martes, fecha en la cual se produjo el robo, el pasado 29 de abril.
Circuito cerrado
La información agrega que durante el control del equipaje de mano, dos pasajeros se dirigieron a un inspector aduanal para reclamar la pérdida de una “riñonera”, la cual contenía el efectivo.
Ante esta queja los funcionarios revisaron el circuito cerrado de televisión donde descubrieron a otro pasajero que aprovechó un momento de descuido del propietario para apropiarse de la cartera. Seguidamente, el ladrón se dirigió a un baño del Salón de Entrada de la instalación, donde ocultó el dinero y dejó abandonada la riñonera.
El malhechor fue detenido en el propio baño del aeropuerto. Tras un interrogatorio, el sospechoso confesó el robo, entregó el dinero y fue arrestado.
Según el informe de la Aduana, las víctimas agradecieron a las autoridades la rapidez de la acción para resolver el incidente.
El reporte de la Aduana es acompañado de un foto de la presunta víctima, al parecer un hombre de edad avanzada, aunque no se especifica ningún dato adicional.
