El chofer de una grúa se llevó el susto de su vida en La Habana, cuando un policía lo arrestó por transportar lo que él creía era un artefacto altamente sospechoso: un submarino.
Pero en realidad el estrafalario submarino era un automóvil de los años 50 transformado en lo que parece ser una extraña embarcación con una potente propela trasera.
El suspicaz policía sospechó que la nave, que parecía salida de una película surrealista ambientada en la absurda cotidianidad cubana de la calle Dragones, en el corazón de Centro Habana, tenía la misión de transportar a algunos cubanos que pretendían escapar d ela isla.
Cosas que reconocen todos los cubanos.
Pero una vez que los policías comprobaron que el dichoso submarino en realidad no funciona como tal y que era la obra de un artista isleño, dejaron en libertad al asustado “gruero” ante la mirada atónita de decenas de curiosos que admiraban la pieza y la fotografiaban.

The police suspected that the suspicious ship, like something out of a surreal film set in the absurd of everyday Cuban Dragons street in the heart of Centro Habana, had the mission to transport some Cubans who wanted to escape d ela island.

But once the police found that the submarine happy does not really work as such and that was the work of an island artist, was released the “gruero” scared before the astonished gaze of dozens of onlookers who admired the piece and photographed .
