ARRESTADOS DOCTORES Y MAESTROS CUBANOS ESCAPADOS DE MISIONES DE VENEZUELA.
Las autoridades de El Salvador detuvieron a siete cubanos escapados de misiones en Venezuela que viajaban ocultos en una furgoneta procedente de Costa Rica, junto a dos ciudadanos de Ecuador y cuatro de Bangladesh, informa EFE.
El vehículo, de placa guatemalteca, fue interceptado en El Amatillo, puesto fronterizo de El Salvador con Honduras, tras haber pasado por ese país vecino y Nicaragua.
Según el diario La Prensa Gráfica, los cubanos dijeron que habían escapado de misiones en Venezuela, a las que fueron enviados por le Gobierno de Raúl Castro. Afirmaron que algunos son médicos y otros maestros.
“Si vamos a Cuba nos van a encarcelar, no queremos regresar allá, queremos que nos den asilo en este país o en Estados Unidos (…) nuestro sueño es hacer vida en otro país, no en Cuba”, dijo uno de ellos.
Junto a los emigrantes, fue detenido el guatemalteco Otoniel González, quien conducía la furgoneta y sería acusado de tráfico de personas.
En el grupo viajaba un menor, indicó la Policía salvadoreña, pero no precisó su nacionalidad.
Otros ocho cubanos están detenidos en estaciones migratorias de Veracruz e Hidalgo, en México, informó el diario El Nuevo Herald citando al sacerdote José Alejandro Solalinde Guerra, coordinador de la Pastoral de Movilidad Humana Pacífico Sur, del Episcopado Mexicano.

Son Osbel Mora Hidalgo, de 23 años, Manuel Batista Labrada (26), Alexander Morales Montero (41), Leonardo Porro, Jorge Félix Rodríguez (20), Jorge Rodríguez Rodríguez (28), José Manuel Reyes González (32) y Lázaro Yoel Rodríguez Suárez (28).
“Las llaman estaciones migratorias, pero son cárceles”, dijo Solalinde.
El sacerdote explicó que está abogando por la liberación de los cubanos, que “llevan bastante tiempo detenidos”.
El diario miamense mencionó además el caso de un emigrante cubano, Yensier Bertot, quien estuvo ingresado en el hospital psiquiátrico Fray Bernardino Álvarez, en la capital mexicana, debido a una crisis nerviosa que sufrió después de que las autoridades le comunicaran que sería deportado.
Bertot fue finalmente enviado a la Isla el 30 de julio, según Solalinde.
La prensa mexicana reportó recientemente que varios funcionarios de la estación migratoria de Acayucan (Veracruz) están bajo investigación.
Emigrantes centroamericanos y cubanos los acusaron a agentes del Instituto de Migración de realizar extorsiones y a dos médicos de cobrar por brindar atención a los detenidos. En 2012, ocho cubanos escaparon de esa misma estación.

El Salvador authorities arrested seven escapees Cuban missions in Venezuela that hidden in a van traveling from Costa Rica, with two citizens of Ecuador and four from Bangladesh, reports EFE.
The vehicle, a Guatemalan board, was intercepted in the Amatillo border post of El Salvador to Honduras, having gone through this neighboring country and Nicaragua.
According to the newspaper La Prensa Grafica, the Cubans said they had escaped from missions in Venezuela, which were sent by government of Raul Castro will. They asserted that some doctors and other teachers.
“If we are going to Cuba go to jail, do not want to go back there, we want to give us asylum in this country or in the United States (…) our dream is to make life in another country, not in Cuba,” said one of them.
Along with migrants, was arrested Guatemalan Othniel Gonzalez, who was driving the van and would be charged with trafficking.
The group traveled less said the Salvadoran police, but did not specify their nationality.
Eight other Cubans are being held in detention centers in Veracruz and Hidalgo, in Mexico, El Nuevo Herald quoted the priest José Alejandro Solalinde Guerra, coordinator of the Pastoral of Human Mobility South Pacific Mexican Bishops reported.

The Miami newspaper also mentioned the case of a Cuban immigrant, Yensier Bertot, who was admitted to the Psychiatric Hospital Fray Bernardino Álvarez, in Mexico City, because of a nervous breakdown he suffered after authorities inform him he would be deported.
Bertot was finally sent to the island on July 30, according Solalinde.
SOME DOCTORS WHO ESCAPED FROM FOREIGN MISSIONS
The Mexican press reported recently that several officials of the immigration station Acayucan (Veracruz) are under investigation.
Central American and Cuban immigrants accused agents of the Migration Institute of conduct and two extortion charge for providing medical care to detainees. In 2012, eight Cuban escaped from the same station.
