Amile Waters (born April 25, 1985 in Mayari, Cuba) is a Head Sports Editor/Columnist, Radio Personality and an avid painter of the “Dark Metal” arts. Waters is also a former American pornographic and Indie film actress. Amile has been referenced as the “Multimedia Hippie”, and “Team Hippie President”.
Amile Waters was born in April 25, 1985, in Mayari, Cuba to a Cuban mother and Guyanese father. Growing up as an Army brat, she has traveled all over the world before their final stop, Ft. Hood, Texas in May, 1996. “All I remember of my first day there…HOT!!…and I wanted to go back to Germany.”, the 3-time AVN nominee states.
After receiving an Associates Degree in Media Broadcasting (from the University of Texas at Austin) she did a brief stint as Boatswain mate turned Hospital Corpsman for the United States Navy. After she served 3 1/2 years, she then resided in Los Angeles, CA, to pursue her bachelor’s degree in English Literature.
Waters is a devout Nichiren Buddhist and has been cited as an Soka Gakkai (also known as SGI) member.
Professional life.
While attending UCLA in Los Angeles, she was approached by famed adult star and agent Joel Lawrence at a local Hooters where Waters worked. “Joel asked me to speak with him on a opportunity and I ran with it. Hooters was great but I thought doing a few movies will help pay bills.” Her second film Black Moon Risin’ 5, Waters was receiving praise already. According to AVN.com: “Amile has the stuff an of erotic legend, and in … her second porn scene ever’.” After only her 5th movie, Amile was solely placed on a box cover with Kick-Ass Pictures in the film Old Men Make Me Squirt 2, being the first African-American woman talent to do so for the company in several years. She has appeared in over 60 adult films and several indie films.
Although Waters was making her name for herself in the adult film world and independent films almost rapidly; Waters left the industry in early spring 2010.

Waters used her popularity to pursue her dream since she was 12, becoming a sportscaster. “I know I may never be ESPN material because of my past career, but I will damn sure try,” she stated in a radio interview 92.3FM in Arizona. Waters brought attention of her love of sports through her Twitter and personal blog “iHeartAmile”. The response was well-received: In February 2011, Waters joined the Streets Speaker Radio crew on Fishbowl Radio Network.
The following month Amile began “SportsTalk with Amile” a daily column on Dirty South HipHop.com.
April 2011, she joined Chris Connor (“The Sports Swami”) as NFL and MMA analyst on weekly radio show The Last Call which airs on Cyberstationusa.com.
In November 2011, Waters was hired by Hip Hop Stardom Magazine as Head Sports Editor.
Waters has stated many times her ultimate goal is to have a syndicated radio and/or television show.
Painting.
Waters has been painting since she was seven years old while living on an Army base in Florence,Italy. ”I fear rejection…I still have a stigma of people judging me. So I’m sensitive of my artwork.” Under the moniker “Milly” she began “Inside Amile’s Mind” on Tumblr, showing her photography and painting works. She currently holds art shows displaying independent artist alongside Waters original artwork throughout the South Texas areas called “The Brown Flower Child Experience.”
