Lazaro Pérez (name is pronounced Lah-za-ro Per-ez);was born on December 17, 1945, in Havana, Cuba. He is an actor, known for All Good Things (2010), Desperately Seeking Susan (1985) and The Confession (1999). He is the son of Emilio (a shoe shiner) and Josefina (Gazquez) Perez; married Dianne Reutter, 1970 (divorced, 1978).

His Stage debut was in The Jungle of Cities, Theatre Company of Boston,Boston, MA, in 1964. His Broadway debut was in Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie?, Belasco Theatre, 1969.

His Television debut was The Name of the Game, NBC, 1969. His film debut was in Catso, Fortune and Men’s Eyes (also known as Aux yeux du sort et des humains), Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1970.

Lazaro Perez appeared as Father LaFrano, whose parishioner Gus Albierro confessed that condemned murderer Frank Hackman was in Daytona, not Miami when he allegedly killed Metro-Dade Detective Frankel (later proven false) in the episode “Forgive Us Our Debts” of the series Miami Vice.
