The actress Silvana Pampanini, exponent of Italian popular cinema of the fifties, died today in Rome at the age of 90 years after it failed to recover from a recent operation in the abdomen.
The singer died at Rome’s Gemelli Polyclinic, where he remained hospitalized since last October in intensive care after emergency abdominal surgery from which he never recovered, according to local media.
