El 20 de octubre, la Cuba más aperturista recibirá con los brazos abiertos al cantante en un concierto gestionado por la empresa malagueña Galas Metropolitanas después de que la actuación fuese autorizada por el Instituto Cubano de la Música.
En la prensa cubana ya se habla de ‘hito’ tras cinco años de negociaciones y después del concierto de los Rolling Stones en la isla, que ha animado a que muchos otros artistas quieran actuar allí. Según ha podido saber Vanitatis, desde varios hoteles ya se está ofreciendo al cantante de Linares la posibilidad de alojarlo y de que todo sea “de su agrado y del equipo que suele llevar consigo”.
El que más se posiciona para albergar al cantante es el Hotel Iberostar Parque Central, uno de los que más suelen ocupar las celebridades de la capital cubana. “Desde allí le han comunicado a gentes del equipo su ofrecimiento para que la estancia de Raphael en Cuba sea lo más placentera posible. Hay varios hoteles que estarían encantados de alojarlo y de conocerlo en persona, ya que para ellos es una visita muy importante”.
Situado en la llamada Habana Vieja, el hotel, de cuatro estrellas, cuenta con una magnífica ubicación y un estilo de los años 50 que conserva el estilo arquitectónico de la vieja Cuba. Aunque el Iberostar ha sido el primero en ‘tirarle los tejos’, hay otros hoteles que podrían acoger al cantante y su equipo, como el Hotel Nacional de Cuba, situado en Vedado y construido en los años 30.
Además de estos dos, otro alojamiento de gran reputación en la ciudad es el Hotel Saratoga, que ocupa un edificio de la intersección de la Habana Vieja, en la esquina del Paseo del Prado y la calle Dragones y está situado cerca de lugares de enorme interés turístico como la Fábrica de Tabacos, el Museo de Bellas Artes o el Gran Teatro de la Habana. “Todavía es pronto para saberlo pero el interés en recibirlo quizá se explica porque allí, por el Castrismo, hay menos tradición de recibir a artistas de repercusión internacional”.
