CIUDADANOS CUBANOS DEPORTADOS DE COLOMBIA COMIENZAN A LLEGAR A LA ISLA.
El Gobierno cubano confirmó este domingo la llegada del primer grupo de 14 ciudadanos de la Isla que fueron deportados el sábado por el Gobierno de Colombia, donde se encontraban de manera ilegal, y culpó a Estados Unidos de “politizar” el tema migratorio y estimular una emigración “ilegal e insegura”, reporta EFE.
Un nota de la Dirección de Asuntos Consulares y de Cubanos Residentes en el Exterior del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores (MINREX) de la Isla informó que a los cubanos deportados “se les realizó el control sanitario internacional establecido y están siendo trasladados a sus provincias de residencia”.
“Esas personas salieron de Cuba legalmente hacia diferentes países de América Latina y el Caribe, cumpliendo los requisitos establecidos por las regulaciones migratorias cubanas”, señaló el comunicado divulgado por medios oficiales este domingo.
Por ello, los ciudadanos cubanos que hayan salido legalmente del país y cumplan con la legislación migratoria vigente tienen derecho a retornar a Cuba.
Los deportados son parte de los ciudadanos cubanos que en su mayoría permanece hacinado en una bodega en la localidad colombiana de Turbo, en la región caribeña del Urabá, fronteriza con Panamá, donde un número indeterminado de migrantes de la Isla se ha amontonado con el propósito de transitar hacia Estados Unidos.
Las autoridades colombianas han advertido a los migrantes irregulares que permanecen en el municipio de Turbo, que aquellos que no salgan voluntariamente del territorio nacional serán deportados a su país de origen o a la nación por la que ingresaron a Colombia.
Sostiene que estos ciudadanos son “víctimas de la politización” del tema migratorio por parte de Estados Unidos, que “estimula una emigración ilegal e insegura”, a través de la Ley de Ajuste Cubano, vigente desde 1966, la política de “pies secos-pies mojados”, y del “Programa de Parole para profesionales médicos cubanos”.
“Esa política constituye una violación de la letra y el espíritu de los acuerdos migratorios entre Cuba y los Estados Unidos, mediante los cuales ambos gobiernos asumieron la obligación de garantizar una emigración legal, segura y ordenada”, afirmó el comunicado. Que consideran “incongruente” con el actual contexto bilateral, tras el deshielo diplomático entre La Habana y Washington, porque está “obstaculizando” la normalización de las relaciones migratorias entre el régimen y los Estados Unidos y creando problemas a otros países.
Una oleada de migrantes cubanos provocó a principios de este año una crisis en Centroamérica cuando se juntaron miles de personas en Costa Rica, situación que concluyó tras un acuerdo diplomático con su traslado vía aérea y terrestre a México, para que continuaran el viaje a Estados Unidos.
