Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao was born in Cojimar, La Habana, Cuba on March 3, 1997, is singer and songwriter who has rise in a very short time, per her artistic value, in the scenes of Hollywood and everywhere.
First appeared as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony on the second season of The X Factor in 2012, finishing in the top 3. Fifth Harmony’s debut 2013 single “Miss Movin’ On” was certified gold. She left the group in 2016.
She went back and forth between Havana, where she was born, and Mexico for the first 5 years of her life before moving to the U.S. Her parents are Alejandro and Sinuhe Cabello and she has a younger sister named Sofia.
On January 25, 2017, “Love Incredible”, a collaboration with Norwegian DJ Cashmere Cat, leaked online. The official version of the song was released on February 16, 2017.
It is featured on Cashmere Cat’s debut studio album, 9. Cabello was later featured in “Hey Ma”, a collaboration with Pitbull and J Balvin for The Fate of the Furious: The Album. The “Hey Ma” (Spanish Version) single and music video were released on March 10, 2017. The English version of the song was released on April 6, 2017. The singer was also featured on a collaboration with Major Lazer, Travis Scott and Quavo, “Know No Better”.
Cabello’s forthcoming debut solo album The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving. is set to be released in September 2017. Cabello posted on social media about the story behind the project, saying: “[The album] is the story of my journey from darkness into light, from a time when I was lost to a time when I found myself again.” The album’s lead single “Crying in the Club” was released on May 19, 2017.
Cabello performed the song for the first time at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards in May 2017. The singer also partnered with clothing brand Guess as the face for their 2017 Fall campaign. Cabello joined the 24K Magic World Tour to be an opening act for several of the concerts.
