En días atrás salió la luz un vídeo que mostraba una dura crítica del vicepresidente Miguel Díaz-Canel contra ciertos aspectos del cuentapropismo que, en su opinión, debían ser estrechamente vigilados, con el fin de no contravenir ciertos “principios” de “la Revolución”.
Pese a que posteriormente trascendió que el vídeo en cuestión se remontaba a un encuentro que sostuvo con cuadros del PCC hace seis meses ―en febrero pasado― lo cierto es que la dureza de sus declaraciones hacen pensar que poco puede haber cambiado en su determinación a “censurar”, sin muchas contemplaciones, todo lo que parezca fuera de la “línea revolucionaria”.
Uno de los aspectos que criticó en aquella reunión fue el estilo de algunos locales privados que eran decorados ―y hasta hacían publicidad y marketing― a costa de revivir La Habana de los 50′, es decir, La Habana pre-revolucionaria.
Sin embargo, este reciente reportaje de Cubanet muestra cómo el pronóstico de Díaz-Canel es una realidad: la decoración de los 50′ campa a sus anchas por bares, restaurantes y sitios de ocio habaneros.
El llamado estilo vintage es una corriente universal, una vuelta al pasado con una connotación más estética que ideológica.
Sin embargo, en el caso de Cuba, más allá de toda lectura ideológica que le quieran atribuir los policías del pensamiento, constituye también un atractivo turístico y hasta posee un sentido pragmático de reciclaje y puesta en valor de objetos que, sin ser antigüedades, despiertan admiración.
La lectura política reduccionista está en la mirada de los censores, y es que tal vez no se han detenido a mirar que los objetos de la Cuba de los 50′ figuran muchas veces junto a radios soviéticas, pomos de perfumes de Europa del Este y hasta revistas Sputnik.
Todo forma parte del pasado, todo es parte de eso que sabiamente llaman “experiencia de vida”, y no hay más. Lo otro es un deseo desenfrenado por querer controlarlo todo.
