La Tremenda Corte (Spanish for “The Awesome Courthouse”) was a radio comedy show produced in Havana, Cuba. The scripts were written by Cástor Vispo, a Spaniard who became Cuban citizen.
In 1955, the program received a second wind, becoming the TV space comedy “The show of Pototo & Filomeno” CMQ through TV, where Leopoldo Fernandez ( “Pototo”) made a very similar to “Tres Patines” with again his teammate Anibal de Mar (Filomeno).
The space consisted of skits and songs with orchestral music, a forerunner of its kind on the island of Cuba. Its success prompted the couple’s two music recordings and a second film ( “Olé Cuba!”) In 1957. The show was introduced in the Sierra and the Montmartre cabarets in Havana.

All this occurred parallel to his work with “La Tremenda Corte”, but much of the public still identified with their radio characterizations.

La Tremenda Corte fue una comedia de radio producida en La Habana, Cuba. Los guiones fueron escritos por Cástor Vispo, un español que se convirtió en ciudadano cubano.
En 1955, el programa recibió un segundo viento, convirtiéndose en la comedia espacial de televisión “El espectáculo de Pototo & Filomeno” CMQ a través de la televisión, donde Leopoldo Fernández (“Pototo”) hizo una muy similar a “Tres Patines” con su compañero Anibal de Mar (Filomeno).
El espacio consistió en sketches y canciones con música orquestal, un precursor de su tipo en la isla de Cuba. Su éxito motivó las dos grabaciones musicales de la pareja y una segunda película (“Olé Cuba!”). En 1957, el espectáculo fue presentado en la Sierra y los cabarets de Montmartre en La Habana.
Todo esto ocurrió paralelamente a su trabajo con “La Tremenda Corte”, pero gran parte del público todavía se identifica con sus caracterizaciones radiofónicas.
